How did we meet Dr. Denaro?

We met Dr. Denaro at the Northshore Business Forum, and became Facebook friends. Dr. Denaro is full of lively, optimistic energy that drives her practice. Dr. Denaro’s practice has flourished. Panospin360 is proud to say we contribute to increasing visibility.

Tell us a little about what attracted you to this business.

I became a chiropractor because of my own personal experience. When I was a teenager, I had TMJ (jaw pain) and I spent years trying different dentists and TMJ specialists to help with the pain and constant headaches. After 2 years of unsuccessful treatments, my grandmother recommended that I see her chiropractor. After getting adjusted by him for only two weeks, my jaw pain and headaches were gone! It was at that point that I knew chiropractic would be a part of my life forever.

I opened Denaro Chiropractic in 2013 and have helped thousands of patients with many different conditions such as back pain, headaches, neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, TMJ, carpal tunnel, whiplash, migraines, tendonitis, etc.

What visual aspects of your space are the most interesting, unique, and noteworthy (historically) that would help bring interest in your location?

We moved into our current location in 2016 and did a complete renovation of the space. We designed the office to accommodate four treatment rooms and a welcoming waiting area while maintaining an open, clean, and calming atmosphere.

The primary treatment room is our exam room. We also have a family-friendly room, which has a kid’s chiropractic table, an adult table, and our ever-popular school bus for kids to play with. The third room is reserved for follow up visits and cupping therapy. The fourth room is our Infrared Sauna room, which is a relaxing and therapeutic experience for patients.

How did you end up in your current location?

We needed more space than what we had at our first location and found our current location, two office condos in North Reading, just down the street from the original office. Purchasing these side by side condos allowed us to fully renovate one office and rent out the second one until we are ready to expand into both.

What is the reaction when people visit your space?

The words people use to describe our office are relaxing, warm and welcoming, zen, clean, professional. Many people are nervous when visiting a chiropractor for the first time and the atmosphere of the office helps to reassure them that they are in a reputable, honest and professional office.

What do you most want people to know about your business?

We are committed to providing quality chiropractic care to our community. I wanted to create the kind of office that I would want to go to as a patient; an office that takes the time to explain and educate, an office that values your time, an office with a staff that makes you feel welcome, an office that is honest and truthful! This year, I was awarded the prestigious recognition from the International Association of Healthcare Professionals as one of the Leading Physicians of the World as well as Top Chiropractor in Massachusetts.

In the past five years of being in business, we have helped thousands of patients! Newborns, moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, athletes, veterans and active military, students, teachers, and first responders. My specialty and extended training are in prenatal and pediatric care. I am certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and I am Webster Certified to work with complicated breech pregnancies.

How did your background help prepare you to start this business?

Being a business owner is not something they spend a lot of time teaching chiropractic students. Until I started this practice, I had been a student my entire life and had little experience with the many aspects of business ownership. I enlisted the help and experience of my parents (who owned a business for 35 years), the Small Business Association, my colleagues, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

It has always been my philosophy that the right resources are always accessible – you just have to know where to go. Thanks to all the support I had, Denaro Chiropractic has flourished and quickly became one of the most recommended Chiropractic offices in the community.

What’s the next level up for your business and when do you see that happening?

We recently incorporated the Infrared Sauna into our practice. There are many benefits to using this type of sauna including pain relief, muscle recovery and relaxation, detoxification, immune system support and lowered blood pressure.

Do you have any special projects in the works?

We are always looking at forward progress and continued growth. At this point in time, we are focusing our attention on staying up-to-date with the latest research on chiropractic and health care. We are also putting our attention on continuing to offer the best chiropractic care for our patients.

Do you donate or volunteer from your business in any capacity?

We belong to a group called the Patriot Project.  The Patriot Project is an organization that is committed to providing chiropractic care to all active military, their families, wounded warriors, and all Gold Star dependents. Denaro Chiropratic makes time available to treat at least one armed-service member a week at no charge.

We make donations to the Patriot Project, which go towards funding for a USO-type chiropractic care tour, visiting military bases at home and around the world, including all active forward operating bases like those in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I am a volunteer advisory board member for the UMass Lowell Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology.
